Does the portfolio match your event?
Innovation awards, PROPER assessments, international conferences and programme launches each ask for something different. Check whether the studio has worked on similar events, and ask to see inside slides as well as covers. Data slides and diagrams show more of what a design team can do.
You can see our work in the case studies, for example PC Prove 05, Platinum at CIP 2024, and X-Factor, an English-language deck for the APQO 2026 conference.
Who will your team talk to?
The hardest part of an innovation deck is often the technical explanation. Ask whether your team can talk directly with the designers working on the deck, or only through an intermediary. At PPTPremium, your team works directly with our design team, from the first idea to the last slide.
What is the process and timeline?
Ask the studio to explain the stages and the schedule up front. As an example, ours runs like this:
- Before we start: your team prepares the main idea, supporting data, visual references and a picture of the slides you have in mind.
- Week one: an initial discussion about your team, the innovation, the event and your presentation date.
- Week one: the storyline, and a theme designed for your team only.
- Weeks two to four: every slide designed and revised with your team until it is ready for rehearsal.
If your presentation date is less than four weeks away, say so at the start. A good studio will tell you what is realistic in the time you have.
Where will the theme come from?
Ask how the theme will be decided. A theme built from the team’s story and the event’s identity makes a deck easier to remember. The X-Factor deck for APQO 2026, for example, made Indonesian culture its face: Balinese dancers, frangipani and gold ornament for an international audience.
How is your material kept confidential?
Innovation material, environmental data and launch plans are often internal. Make sure the studio will sign your company’s or institution’s NDA before the project starts, and will not publish anything without your permission. We do both. The slides for the POLRI internal application launch, for example, are not shown in our portfolio.
Does the paperwork fit an institution?
For BUMN and government teams, procurement documents matter as much as the design. Ask whether the studio can provide a formal quotation before the project starts, an invoice and receipt for payment, and a handover document (BAST) at the end. We provide all three.
Which files will you receive?
Make sure you get editable files. Our decks are delivered as an editable PowerPoint file (.pptx), plus a PDF for sending or printing. Editable files matter when the data changes close to the presentation day.
What if your material is not complete yet?
That is common. Send what you have, such as the main idea, data and visual references. We work out the storyline and anything still missing together in the initial discussion.
The questions in short
- Does the portfolio cover similar events, inside slides included?
- Can your team talk directly with the designers?
- What are the stages and timeline, and what if time is shorter?
- Where will the theme come from?
- Will they sign an NDA?
- Is there a formal quotation, invoice, receipt and BAST?
- Are the final files editable?
If you are looking for a design team for your next presentation, tell us the event and the date. We will answer these questions for your project. Our service pages cover CIP presentation design and PROPER presentations and videos.
